The twin-transistor noise-tolerant dynamic circuit technique
The twin-transistor noise-tolerant dynamic circuit technique

... and aggressive design practices have brought them to the forefront. In this paper, we will restrict our attention to dynamic logic circuits, which are commonly used in high-speed circuits, and are most susceptible to noise. Also, we define noise to be a pulse/glitch that appears at the inputs of dyn ...

... HE trend of electronic packaging is toward faster transition speed and more I/O count due to the advances in fabrication technology. As a consequence, many signal integrity problems become increasingly challenging to design engineers. Delta-I noise, also called simultaneous switching noise or power/ ...

... model structure as the number of stages changes is undesirable, so instead N should be an input variable. For this reason, three simplifications are performed on the model to improve efficiency. First, it is possible to combine pairs of noise contributors into one lumped transistor by making the rea ...

The following list describes the guidelines for an effective LCD layout with examples shown in Figure 12 and Figure 13: • To minimize the transmission line effect, LCD lines must be routed as straight and short as possible. Parallel routing of LCD traces increases the effective length of the traces ...

... Due to the limitations of standard voltmeters, an error can be realized while performing readings with high impedance sources (e.g., structure-to-soil readings at the point where a copper / copper sulfate reference electrode makes contact with the earth). This error is a result of a current loop cre ...

When comparing the capacitance and resistance readings done earlier, if the length given by the capacitance meter is greater than that of the resistance meter, there is a good chance that a bridged tap or a wet section is present on the span. ... Noise Parameters from S Parameters • Noise parameters can be determined by measuring the noise temperature at several generator impedances. For very low noise transistors this is not easily done with sufficient accuracy especially if the Zopt for the transistor is far from 50 ohms and the noise par ...

... Digitizer processes analog noise signal n1(t) and n2(t) and creates digitized noise signal s[i] . The input part of digitizer is composed of two inverters. The analog noise signals n1(t) and n2(t) are applied to the input of these inverters and make random flipping of the inverter. Thus, the invert ...

... A2 forms a “servo” amplifier feeding the SSM2019 inputs. This places Pins l and 8 at a true dc virtual ground. R4 in conjunction with C2 removes the voltage noise of A2, and in fact just about any operational amplifier will work well here since it is removed from the signal path. If the dc offset at ...

Dither

Dither is an intentionally applied form of noise used to randomize quantization error, preventing large-scale patterns such as color banding in images. Dither is routinely used in processing of both digital audio and video data, and is often one of the last stages of ""mastering"" audio to a CD.A typical use of dither is converting a greyscale image to black and white, such that the density of black dots in the new image approximates the average grey level in the original.
