... Consider a positive going voltage applied to the non-inverting input terminal for the circuit in Figure 4. The base voltage of Q1,2 increases by the same amount whereas the inverting input voltage increases by an amount almost equal in magnitude. Since the inverting input voltage is >0V, Q3 will sou ...

... At time t = 0–, assume the circuit has been stable for a long time, causing derivative values to become zero: dvC (t) di (t) = 0 and L = 0 dt dt This means that iC (t = 0- ) = 0 A and v L (t = 0- ) = 0 V , which in turn means that a C looks like an open circuit and an L looks like a wire. Thus, the ...

... Since the voltage across A and B = 0, the Vg can be quickly calculated as the two 100 ohm resistors form a voltage divider. Since the resistors are equal, the voltage at Vg is 0.5 times the source or 0.5V. That determines the dependent voltage source voltage as -5V (or -10Vg). The short circuit curr ...

... Given the emf devices and resistors in a circuit, we want to calculate the circulating currents. Circuit solving consists in “taking a walk” along the wires. Current source

A current source is an electronic circuit that delivers or absorbs an electric current which is independent of the voltage across it.A current source is the dual of a voltage source. The term constant-current 'sink' is sometimes used for sources fed from a negative voltage supply. Figure 1 shows the schematic symbol for an ideal current source, driving a resistor load. There are two types - an independent current source (or sink) delivers a constant current. A dependent current source delivers a current which is proportional to some other voltage or current in the circuit.
