Phenomenology of Higgs Bosons Beyond the Standard Model
Phenomenology of Higgs Bosons Beyond the Standard Model

... a QFT of particles. Instead, one tries to describe the elementary constituents of matter in terms of strings and branes. In this framework, particles are not point-like but are described as excitations of these extremely small fundamental strings, which are attached to branes in extra dimensions. An ...

From this we can conclude that channel 15 corresponds to the lowest electron energy and channel 1 to the highest electron energy. According to Poisson statistics the standard deviation decreases with the square ...

Elementary particles and the exasperating Higgs boson: the ideas

... "We understood everything: at LHC you will find the Higgs and other particles…" We found the Higgs, but nothing else !!!! 1)  Multiply the mass of the Higgs by 10-16 2)  Find new particles in the coming years (LHC in Geneva will start working in a month !!) 3)  The theories are wrong ...

... The scaling predictions agree well with past experiments. However, further experimental and theoretical investigation is required for hot fusion plasmas. These scaling laws give unfavorable confinement and do not benefit the use of a FRC as a power plant if they remain valid in the collisionless, ho ...

Future Circular Collider

Future Circular Collider (FCC) is an integral conceptual design study for post-LHC particle accelerator options based on a new 80–100-km-circumference tunnel infrastructure. The collaboration is open to scientific institutes and companies of any size from all nations. At the moment there are 57 institutes from 22 nations. The Future Circular Collider study has an emphasis on proton-proton and electron-positron (lepton) high-energy frontier machines. It is exploring the potential of hadron and lepton circular colliders, performing an in-depth analysis of infrastructure and operation concepts and considering the technology research and development programs that would be required to build a future circular collider. A conceptual design report will be delivered before the end of 2018, in time for the next update of the European Strategy for Particle Physics.
