... With the teach-in the signal output can be defined at fully closed fork (status A) as well as at fully open fork (status B). Status A: If there is an acoustically non transparent material in the fork, no signal is recorded by the receiver and thus the sensor shows 0 V. However if the material is par ...

A large, usually tantalum, 10 μF capacitor is required to provide good decoupling for lower frequency signals and to supply current for fast, large signal changes at the ADA4311-1 outputs. Bypassing capacitors should be l ...

... plug earphones into a device and turn the volume up or down. When output is greater than input, we call this “gain.” When output is less than input, we call this “loss.” We measure gain or loss in units called DECIBELS. The Decibel (abbreviated dB) is a “logarithmic” unit. That means it is based upo ...

Radio transmitter design

A radio transmitter is an electronic device which, when connected to an antenna, produces an electromagnetic signal such as in radio and television broadcasting, two way communications or radar. Heating devices, such as a microwave oven, although of similar design, are not usually called transmitters, in that they use the electromagnetic energy locally rather than transmitting it to another location.
