... The RF5725 FEM is a single-chip integrated front-end module (FEM) for high performance WiFi applications in the 2.4GHz to 2.5GHz ISM band. The FEM greatly reduces the number of external components minimizing footprint and assembly cost of the overall 802.11b/g solution. The RF5725 has an integrated ...

... In the field I had a chance to field test the 302 mixer on a long shoot in the arctic this fall. It was a joy to work with and came in very handy. We did one setup that involved recording the intercom in a small research aircraft. The only problem was that there was no room for a camera or sound per ...

... Once a sampling rate has been determined the input must be bandlimited. This means that the incoming electrical signal is filtered so that all frequency components above one-half the sampling frequency are removed! Filtering not only prevents aliasing but also can be used to remove unwanted noise. ...

... If the AC generator weren’t present, our circuit would be a plain old undriven LC circuit with some resistance R thrown in. It would support a nice oscillating current of frequency ω0 = 1/√LC… except the resistor would damp out the oscillations over time. To keep the circuit going, we attach the gen ...

Radio transmitter design

A radio transmitter is an electronic device which, when connected to an antenna, produces an electromagnetic signal such as in radio and television broadcasting, two way communications or radar. Heating devices, such as a microwave oven, although of similar design, are not usually called transmitters, in that they use the electromagnetic energy locally rather than transmitting it to another location.
