REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR AUDITING SERVICES.
The Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association, Inc, is a not for profit corporation organized
under the laws of Massachusetts. Mass Youth Soccer is responsible for overseeing the
youth soccer activities within the commonwealth. Its purpose is to promote and enhance
the game of soccer for the youth of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Mass Youth
Soccer will not discriminate against any individual on the basis of race, color, religion, age,
sex or national origin. This association is affiliated with and complies with the authority of
the United States Soccer Federation (US Soccer).
Mass Youth Soccer is seeking proposals for auditing services. The Auditor will be required
to review the financial statements of the Association including the statement of revenue and
expenses, its cash receipts and its disbursements. The Auditor will also be required to
ensure compliance with the Association Policies and Procedures with respect to
reimbursement requests. Mass Youth Soccer is seeking to receive an audit of the
Association’s affairs on an annual basis.
You are invited to submit a proposal for Auditing Services including a company overview,
client list, relevant project history, personnel qualifications and hourly rates for the all
personnel and an estimate of the cost per Audit to the undersigned. Proposals from
interested parties should be received at the Association’s Office or by mail no later
than
The audit contract will start no later that October 15, 2004. The written audit reports must
be completed and delivered within a reasonable time, but a draft must be delivered for
review no later than December 15th , with the final copy delivered by January 10, 2005.
The Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of Mass Youth Soccer will consider all
the material submitted and will choose the respondent which, in the sole opinion of the
Committee, provides the best combination of cost, professional credentials and diversity of
experience.
