Born on July 7, 1995 in Chicago, IL, Nikko-Daniel Zapanta Magpayo was raised in a Filipino household by his mother, father, and aunt who moved to Chicago from The Philippines, along with his two older sisters in 1992. As a kid, he would (playfully/jokingly) sing along with his father and his cassette tapes of The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Stevie Wonder, and several other “oldies” artists.
