• (b) A Generative Nucleus
Each Species of Pollen is unique
• Exine = Outer Protective Layer
• Intine = Inner Protective Layer
Mitosis
• After Pollination the generative
nucleus divides again
• The Tube nucleus forms the
pollen tube
• The Generative Nucleus forms
the 2 male Gametes
