MEASURE PRESSURE AND RELATIVE
HUMIDITY WITHIN THE TROPOSPHERE AND
LOWER STRATOSPHERE AS A FUNCTION OF
TEMPERATURE, AND TO CHARACTERIZE AND
ATTAIN A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF OUR
ATMOSPHERE BY REPRODUCING DATA
OBTAINED FROM PREVIOUS LAUNCHES AND
NOAA’S EXPERIMENTS.
Science Objectives
 Determine relationship between relative humidity,
temperature and pressure within the troposphere,
tropopause and stratosphere as a function of altitude
 Compare data obtained with NOAA
Technical Objectives
 Payload shall be constructed to survive extreme
conditions of the upper atmosphere.
 Payload should recover measurements of relative
humidity, temperature, and pressure within the
atmosphere.
 To recover data, payload should be able to withstand
ascent and landing.
