This open file reports results from the Marathon Project, a collaborative series of studies of Cu-Pd
mineralization in the Coldwell Alkaline Complex from the 2011 field season and ore zone bulk samples
from 2014 with Stillwater Canada Inc. The report contains data from drillcore samples from the Geordie
Lake and Marathon deposits and Area 41 Cu-Pd mineralization as well as mineralized apatite-olivinemagnetite lenses above the Marathon deposit. All sampling was carried out as part of the Geological
Survey of Canada’s (GSC) fourth Targeted Geoscience Initiative (TGI4) program, as part of the nickelcopper-platinum element group -chromium ore systems project (2011–2015).
