G-CO.1 - Understand and use definitions of angles, circles, perpendicular lines, parallel lines, and line
segments based on the undefined term of a point, a line, the distance along a line, and the length of an arc
2. G-GPE.5 - Using slope, prove lines are parallel or perpendicular. Find equations of lines based on certain
slope criteria such as; finding the equation of a line parallel or perpendicular to a given line that passes
through a given point.
3. G-CO.9 - Prove theorems pertaining to lines and angles.
o Prove vertical angles are congruent.
o Prove when a transversal crosses parallel lines, alternate interior angles are congruent and corresponding
angels are congruent.
o Prove points on a perpendicular bisector of a line segment are exactly those equidistant from the segment’s
endpoints.

1. Develop your power point presentation as normal with engaging graphics, interesting text, and
designed just how you like.
2. Place the presentation in the zip file. The presentation will be placed in the new template
which will allow students to view additional navigation options of the topics presented to the left of
their PowerPoint screen. All the content will be available to the students but in addition to
viewing the slides step-by-step, they will also have the option of navigating specifically to the
topic that interests them most. Research has shown that making the slides with an open
navigation can increase student engagement and learning.
3. Add audio files to the zip file. Each slide is required to have its own audio (mp3 file).
4. Add transcription notes to the notes section that is located below the PowerPoint slide. This
will be the text of the voiceover (mp3 files) that you are adding to the presentation.
Note: This interaction requires audio. Please create one audio file for each slide.

Keep in mind – Engaging Tip
Do you have an idea of how an introduction to this presentation could start that would gain the
attention of the learner?
Could include: Interesting startup question, animation, graphic, or audio combination (content or
presentation specific) that would get the learner’s attention as they begin the presentation?
