... MTCMOS and variable threshold CMOS design. The input vector control method was motivated by the fact that in stacked circuits gate leakage has a much greater contribution to the overall leakage than subthreshold leakage. We were able to show that by controlling the inputs to simple circuits like a 3 ...

... In fact, the current through the capacitor results in the separation rather than the accumulation of electric charge. This separation of charge causes an electric field to develop between the plates of the capacitor giving rise to voltage across the plates. This voltage V is directly proportional to ...

... of this note for a battery primer). The maximum charge current for a battery is dependent on the battery’s rated capacity (C). For example, a battery with a cell capacity of 1000mAh is referred to as being charged at 1C (1 times the battery capacity) if Li-Ion Battery Charger the charge current is 1 ...

Rogowski Coil for Current Measurement in a Cryogenic Environment

... Current transformer based on Faraday’s law of induction is the most widely used current sensing device [4]. However, the magnetic core material may cause the HTS tape to quench, and the size is relatively large in order to measure large current. The Rogowski coil is another kind of current sensor ba ...

Interconnect Coupling Noise in CMOS VLSI Circuits 48

... In the design of high speed VLSI circuits, it is there fore important to be able to predict coupling noise at the system (or chip) level [S]. Thii information permits circuit malfunctions or extra power consumption caused by the coupling noise to be avoided [9]. The design cycle and cost can therefo ...

The Npassgates can accomplish this task very efficiently because, when both A and B ports are LOW, the Npassgates act as a low resistive short between the two (A and B) ports. Current source

A current source is an electronic circuit that delivers or absorbs an electric current which is independent of the voltage across it.A current source is the dual of a voltage source. The term constant-current 'sink' is sometimes used for sources fed from a negative voltage supply. Figure 1 shows the schematic symbol for an ideal current source, driving a resistor load. There are two types - an independent current source (or sink) delivers a constant current. A dependent current source delivers a current which is proportional to some other voltage or current in the circuit.
