Developing Equations for Ideal Gas Air Properties Alireza Sadeghi
Developing Equations for Ideal Gas Air Properties Alireza Sadeghi

... Curve fitting is important in engineering applications. Extensive studies on curve fitting were done and different approaches were used. Even though the appearance of some curves may look similar to each other, a curve may be an exponential, polynomial, or a complicated logarithmic function. The mai ...

... However, under pure nitrogen atmosphere, the transformation can be reversed and β-SiC phase can be stabilized up to 2500°C by applying a nitrogen pressure. Under atmospheric pressure, silicon carbide does not melt when heated to elevated temperatures rather, it sublimes and/or dissociates. In additi ...

... the viscosity η of organic liquids [3, 9–11], the validity and accuracy of Eq. (1) depends on the viscosity range (η min , η max ) that is to be covered. When η min is small (< 1 mPa s) and η max /η min is < 10 a single Arrhenius term f 1 (T ) is often sufficient to describe η(T ) with an accuracy o ...

... One source of variability in the reported effects of heat stress on photosynthesis is the method of stressing leaves. Often, leaf pieces are floated on water. This ensures good thermal contact and good control over leaf temperature, but it means that one of the leaf surfaces will not have access to ...

Selecting Die Attach Technology for High-Power

... Another important issue with Ag-filled epoxy is the thermal resistance at the epoxy/die and epoxy/die attach pad interface. For solder material, this thermal resistance is very low as long as there is no voiding present. For Ag-filled epoxy, the bonding phase (epoxy) and the thermal conducting phase ...

ASHRAE 55

ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 55 (Thermal Environmental Conditions for Human Occupancy) is a standard that provides minimum requirements for acceptable thermal indoor environments. It establishes the ranges of indoor environmental conditions that are acceptable to achieve thermal comfort for occupants. It was first published in 1966, and since 2004 has been updated periodically by an ASHRAE technical committee composed of industry experts. The most recent version of the standard was published in 2013.
